
The Syrian Army troops killed scores of armed rebels and destroyed their weapons and ammunition after heavy clashes in Aleppo countryside. A military source told the Syrian state-run news agency that a number of militants were killed and injured and their weapons and vehicles were destroyed in the villages and towns of Qabtan al-Jabal, al- Mansoura, Jdaideh, Kweres and Rasm al-Abboud. The source added that an army unit eliminated militants' gatherings in North al-Hamimeh, South Abu Jabbar in the Eastern countryside, North al-Neirab, Khan al-Assal, and the area surrounding the central prison, al-Kindi hospital, Azzan, al-Zebdieh, Pianon, al-Sheikh Saeed, Hayyan, Thahret al-Sherfeh, East of Khan Toman. The source pointed out that another army unit killed members of an armed rebel group and destroyed their weapons and equipment in Aziza village. Ismail Hejazy, Mahmoud al-Shaar, Farhan Hassan Kassar were identified among the dead. Armed rebel groups were eliminated and heavy machine guns were destroyed in the villages of Kfar Kar, al-Mintar and near sewage company, East of al-Ramouseh.
