
Deputy Premier, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received in his office at Gudaibiya Palace today, the Ambassador of the friendly People's Republic of China to the Kingdom, H.E. Mr. Li Xin. During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the Chinese Ambassador, emphasizing the Government's diligence on bolstering bilateral friendship and cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, citing the great push forwards achieved by the historic visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the friendly People's Republic of China and the outcomes of His Majesty's talks with His Excellency the Chinese President and senior Chinese government officials, praising the amicable reception and generous hospitality extended to HM the King throughout the visit which reflects the attentiveness of both leaderships to developing and bolstering bilateral cooperation relations between both friendly countries. His Highness the Deputy Premier said that the Government will embark on implementing all cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded during the historic visit of His Majesty the King to Beijing, including mutual exchanging of visits by government officials and private businesses, in order to benefit from Chinese expertise in infrastructure, housing, education and training, IT, economy, trade and investment. The Chinese Ambassador thanked His Highness the Deputy Premier for his welcoming him and his attention to consolidating and boosting bilateral relations between his country and the Kingdom of Bahrain building on what has already been achieved during the historic visit of HM the King, pointing out that the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys unique and excellent economic components as a regional financial and business hub.
