Lebanese security forces started implementing their deployment plan to strengthen their presence in the Southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital of Beirut after twin explosions this summer left dozens of people killed. Al-Manar correspondents in Dahiyeh reported on Monday that Lebanese security personnel started their task to control the suburb entrances, including various alleyways. It has been scheduled that 1100 military personnel will be deployed at 44 points for inspection in various parts of the suburb. "Security forces began to deploy from the North-Eastern entrance of Dahiyeh in the vicinity of Galerie Semaan Avenue - Church of St. Michael, in order to be deployed starting from the church in the North towards Tayouneh roundabout, Sfeir-Hadat highway, and Al-Mosharfieh-Ghobeiri-Airport bridge roundabout," the National News Agency reported. For his part, caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities Marwan Charbel said that "Hezbollah responded excellently with the start of the security plan," pointing out that "reserve units will be called to fill vacancies and work in offices." "It is our duty to ensure the protection of each Lebanese region exposed to risk," he said, adding that "We are in Dahiyeh to tell the citizens that the state will not leave you alone and it is responsible for your security and your protection," Charbel stated during his visit to Dahiyeh Monday to follow-up the deployment plan. "We have to spend precious and valuable to keep our security. The Lebanese State hosts all parties and the Ministry of the Interior is for all parties without distinguishing between one party and another," the caretaker minister stressed. Charbel also pointed out that "the implementation of the plan will begin in Tripoli, where the situation differs from that in Dahiyeh because the political dispute will affect it," indicating that "we may reach a solution with the help of caretaker PM Najib Mikati".'
