Qatar National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) signed Sunday a joint cooperation agreement with the Sudan National Human Rights Committee. The agreement stipulates cooperation in key areas such as dissemination, promotion and protection of human rights, the development of public awareness of the principles and standards of human rights. The agreement calls for benefitting from exchange of training between the two sides, and the organization of training courses in the international humanitarian law, as well as conducting studies or research on topics of common interest between the Committees. The agreement also includes cooperation in media, including publications or launch of joint media campaigns as well as the possibility of cooperation in the judicial field. The agreement was signed NHRC's Secretary General Maryam bint Abdullah Al-Attiyah and for Sudan Human Rights Committee by its President Amal Hassan Al Tinay
