
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani where they discussed the outcome of the meeting among oil producing countries in Doha on April 17, as well as the situation in Syria and possible coordination of joint efforts in settling the crisis, Sputnik quoted the Kremlin’s press service as saying on Tuesday.
“A telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was held on the initiative of the Qatari side. Various aspects were discussed on the situation in Syria, including the possible coordination of joint efforts in settling the crisis,” the press service said.
