Obama meets Brazil prez on the sidelines of G20 summit

US President Barack Obama held talks with his Brazilian counterpart Dilma Rousseff on the sidelines of the G20 summit here on Thursday. Rousseff threatens to cancel her State visit to Washington in view of the revealed data on electronic spying on her by American special services. The fact of an Obama-Rousseff meeting was reported by the White House which did not give any details of the conversation between the leaders of the two countries. President Obama met with the President of Brazil in the interim between the first plenary session of the G20 summit and a working supper of its participants, the White House announcement said. A State visit to the US capital by Rousseff was planned for October. None of foreign leaders, with the exception of the President of Brazil, received an invitation to pay a State visit to Washington this year.
