Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour
Sharm El-Sheikh - MENA

The African Free Trade Area (FTA) agreement between COMESA-EAC-SADC will contribute to curbing the influx of illegal immigrants from African countries to foreign countries in search for jobs, said Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel Nour.

In exclusive statements to MENA, Abdel Nour said that this area will help in establishing mega national industries in the various African countries and encouraging local manufacturing, a matter which will create jobs for tens of millions of African youths.

The African leaders came to Sharm el Sheikh to declare that the future is for Africa and it is high time for the African continent to be one economic entity, he said.
