National assembly speaker extolls Kuwait-Jordan ties

On the eve of his departure to Jordan on a three-day visit, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim spoke favorably in a press statement today of Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations whose foundations, he said, were set by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Jordan's King Abdullah II. Stressing that his visit at the head of a parliamentary delegation aimed at boosting cooperation among the parliaments of both countries, the House Speaker lauded the trajectory of the bilateral relations between Jordan and Kuwait, noting that these relations have been showing enormous growth in numerous fields and spheres of interest. Besides visiting Jordan, the Speaker is scheduled to visit Turkey and Switzerland.
