
The MP, of the State of Law, Abboud al-Issawi ruled out declare a state of emergency in the country. He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The leadership of the armed forces and security officials are involved in the management of the security file, but the declaration of a state of emergency will disable life in the country, pointing out that it is possible to prepare alternative plans and trapping areas that harbor terrorists and conduct search operations and arrest the wanted." Issawi added: "The political blocs and government must agree and be consensus on counter-terrorism in the difficult conditions faced by the country and support the security forces with modern equipment, including cameras and surveillance drones by import them as soon as possible." Some media quoted an informed source, on Tuesday, as noted that the Office of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces is studying with the relevant ministers and intelligence chiefs to declare a state of emergency. The source said: "The Office of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces and security minister and intelligence chiefs are studying options to declare a state of emergency in Iraq, through the division of the country into units run by officers from the armed forces under the emergency law.
