A delegation from the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Tolerance, a global initiative to encourage tolerance and to honour champions of tolerance throughout the world, has participated in the World Volunteer Conference 2016 in Mexico.
The participation comes as part of efforts to acquire the mechanisms and procedures of volunteerism and how to utilise them with young people in the United Arab Emirates in order to work out a future plan for organising the volunteerism work of the Award.
The delegation included Ahmed Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Award, and Khalifa Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director of Operations at the Award.
On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation met with Ahmed Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, who attended the conference in support of the Award and its efforts. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance the Award’s relationship with other existing international organisations in Mexico.
