The House of Representatives will vote on Monday on the UN-backed Libyan government of National Accord and amendments to the Constitutional Declaration with the attendance of local observers.
It will be a secret ballot as the first box will be dedicated to the constitutional amendment and the second to the unity government, said lawmaker Khaled Osta.
He said any illegal attempt to block the vote will be unacceptable, noting that 140 legislators will attend today session for the crucial vote.
Fayez Sarraj's government, hoping to end years of chaos that erupted in mid-2014 following the NATO-backed uprising that killed dictator Muammar Gaddafi, was formed under a UN-backed power-sharing deal agreed in December and supported by some lawmakers from both sides.
The unity cabinet has been steadily winning support from local officials and state institutions, though the head of the Tripoli-based administration, Khalifa Ghweil, has refused to recognize its authority.
