The State of Kuwait on Monday expressed deep regret at the recent twin bombing attacks that occurred outside mosques packed with worshippers in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli. An official statement released after the weekly Cabinet session expressed deep regret and concern at the blasts that targeted Al-Salam and Al-Taqwa mosques in Tripoli last week, inflicting many deaths and leaving a large number of people wounded. It affirmed that continuation of such "criminal actions target Lebanon's security and stability and the whole Lebanese people," calling on them to unite ranks and foil "the enemies' plots" against the country's security and national unity.
