Kuwait, Italy discuss bilateral ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah discussed with the visiting Italian Undersecretary of Defense Roberta Pinotti ways of promoting and enhancing bilateral ties, especially those concerning military matters. The minister lauded Kuwaiti-Italian relations and stressed the two parties' concern in taking these ties to a higher ground. The meeting, which was held at the minister's office, was attended by Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Othman, Acting Undersecretary of the Defense Ministry Sheikh Rakan Salem Al-Sabah, Kuwait Air Force Commodore Khamis Al-Farhan, senior military figures and Italian Ambassador in Kuwait Fabrizio Nicoletti
