Hadi congratulates Merkel on re-election to German chancellor post

President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi sent on Monday a congratulatory cable to Angela Merkel on her party's victory in the parliamentary elections and her re-election to the post of the German chancellor. In his cable, President Hadi wished Mrs. Merkel success in heading the German government, dealing wisely with all current changes and enhancing security, stability and peace in the world. It is an opportunity to express our satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations and the continued development, Hadi said, expressing Yemen's commitment to enhance such relations in the future. He thanked Germany for its firm positions in support of the political process in Yemen and its infinite support for the Yemeni people's right to change and move towards a better future.
