Far East’s all polling stations in flooded regions are opened

In the flooded regions in Russia’s Far East all the polling stations are opened, some of them were relocated, Deputy Head of Russia’s Central Election Commission Leonid Ivlev said on Sunday. “In the Khabarovsk territory, in the Amur region and in the Jewish Autonomous District all polling stations are opened,” he said. “In the flooded regions all the 20 polling stations are opened and working, some of them have been relocated.” In the Khabarovsk territory, relocated were nine stations, in the Amur region - three, and in the Jewish Autonomous District - seven, he said. Leonid Ivlev thanked the rescuers, the police and the military, who assisted in providing the polling stations with everything necessary for voting. In the Khabarovsk territory, they allocated 30 motor boats for members of the election commissions and for the local residents.
