Egypt appreciates Saudi diplomatic efforts

Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces Abdulfattah Al-Sisi expressed admiration Monday for Saudi Arabia diplomatic efforts and its support to Egyptian people in recent times, and keenness to support it politically and economically to overcome exceptional circumstances. Al-Sisi remarks came during a meeting with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Middle East News Agency (MENA) said. The Egyptian commander affirmed on strong ties between the two countries and their role in the region and international arena. For his part, Prince Saud conveyed greeting and appreciation of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Al-Sisi, for his relentless and exerted efforts to quickly recuperate Egypt's strategic position in the Arab region. The Saudi official added ties between the two nations are strong through coordination, cooperation, and Arab joint work in all fields. The meeting also highlighted developments in the region and international arena.
