A Cairo court handed five pro-ousted president Mohamed Morsi five-year-imprisonment sentences over violent protests in Cairo's Shubra Al-Khemah district following the oust of Morsi. The state news agency (MENA) reported that the court had found the students guilty of attacking ordinary people and several shops during the protest. Shubra Al-Khemah Prosecution also ordered jail of six Muslim Brotherhood figures for 15 days pending further investigations over accusations of inciting violence and being members of an outlawed group.
