Biden phones Iraqi Prime Minister

US Vice President Joe Biden spoke Wednesday with the Prime Minister of Iraq, Haider Al-Abadi, to offer condolences for the tragic loss of life following Daesh's attack in Karrada, Baghdad, the White House reported.
Biden strongly condemned the Daesh attack as cowardly and desperate targeting innocent civilians.
He reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the United States to help Iraq defeat Daesh so that all Iraqis may live in peace and stability.
