UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is again urging the UN Security Council to refer the issue of war crimes in Syria to the International Criminal Court for investigation.
Sky News Arabia reported that Ban told reporters on Monday that he was "deeply disappointed" at the lack of unity on Syria in the UNSC.
Ban said the council must stop debating and disagreeing and "work to protect human lives, to bring this matter to a political solution."
He again urged a cease-fire "to build trust and confidence among the parties" and an immediate bombing halt in Aleppo and elsewhere.
