The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, members of the Ruling Family and the Bahraini people on the National and HM the King's Accession to the Throne Days. During its regular meeting, held today under the Chairmanship of its President Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs wished Bahrain continuous stability and development and its loyal people further progress and prosperity. The council pointed out that such auspicious national occasions should be used to promote good citizenship and strengthen national belonging, stressing that patriotism is innate and required by Islam. The council discussed other issues on its agenda, including the Bahrain audio-visual Quran book recorded by proficient Bahraini reciters.
