Algerian army announces the elimination of 5 gunmen

Algerian army killed today five gunmen in Boumerdes province. The Ministry of National Defense said in a statement that a unit of the National People's Army managed to eliminate five terrorists and to retrieve five Kalashnikov-type weapons and a quantity of ammunition in an operation carried out in Boumerdes province The ministry added that the operation was carried out after movements of a criminal group was monitored, saying it reflects the army's determination to cleanse the country from militant groups.
