Ethiopian Foreign Minister Workneh Gebeyehu
Khartoum - Arab Today

Ethiopian Foreign Minister Workneh Gebeyehu on Sunday said his country is keen on the optimal use of the Nile water without prejudice to the rights of the basin countries.

In a press conference held at the headquarters of the Ethiopian Embassy in Khartoum, Gebeyehu said Addis Ababa is looking forward to establishing good relations with neighboring countries, especially the Nile-basin ones, in areas of mutual interest.

Ethiopia also pays great attention to economic cooperation with the Arab Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia, the Ethiopian diplomat added.
