5th session Sudan-Germany political Committee Meets
The Sudanese –German Committee.
Khartoum - SUNA
The 5th session of the Sudanese –German Committee for Strategic Dialogue and Plitical Consultations held, Monday, at the presmises of the German Foreign Ministry.
The Sudanese side to the committee chaired by the Director General of International Cooperation, Ambassador, Omer Mohammed Ahmed while the German side headed by the General Director of olitical Relations at the German Foreign Ministry.
The Geran side has lauded the efforts being exerted by Sudan to maintain peace and stability in the State of South Sudan, expressing readiness over supporting these efforts.
The two sides exchangd viewpoints on coordination between the two countries and the Grman expected role of supporting humanitarian aid and development in Darfuer, as well as supporting peace efforts in Darfur.
In the end of the negotiations Sudan’s delegation met the German Foreign Minister who commended Sudan regional role and its importance as a major partnr for his country in East Africa.
