Ten people were killed and scores injured Friday when a bomb hit a bus carrying government officials in Northwestern Pakistan, police said. "We fear many more might have died," said Fazal Jan, a police official, adding that the bus was carrying 60 government employees home after work in Peshawar, capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. Six bodies and 20 injured people were brought to the city's Lady Reading Hospital, said Altaf Hussain, another police official, the Voice of Russia reported. Four dead were taken to another hospital, Jan said. The attack took place amid reports that the government was planning to open peace talks with militants.
