Sanaa - Agencies

12 people were killed, including four soldiers and  several others were wounded in the new clashes which erupted Thursday between the army and fighters accused of being "Al Qaeda" in the south of the country. This has led outgoing president Saleh to postpone his plans to travel abroad for treatment. Military sources confirmed that the news of the violence and that those killed were among the group "Ansar al-Sharia" associated with al Qaeda. However, local sources said that there were ongoing clashes in the region and that the violence had not subsided. In Sanaa, tribal leader Hamid Al Ahmar opposed any move to grant immunity to the ousted president sayint that the government's proposal to grant immunity showed a "disregard for the blood of the people of Yemen", in reference to hundreds of people who were killed during the protests. He called the Red to charge for, echoing a demand raised across the demonstrators in Yemen since the signing of the agreement in November to end the rule in favor of the extended 33 years ago. Reverse travel. However  Ali Abdullah Saleh who was due to travel to the United States for treatment and ease tensions in the country was said to have changed his plans because of the growing unrest internally.
