Islamabad – Jamal Al- Saadi
Taliban killed 15 kidnapped members of a Pakistan forces that guard the country's northwestern border region, referring to its rejection of holding peace talks with Pakistani government. The dead bodies, which had bullet wounds, were found in Shawa, a small town in the North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border. The Taliban movement in Pakistan issued a statement where it claimed responsibility for the killings, in response to the Pakistani army operation in January that led to the killing of a number of Taliban militants, including a senior leader. Eyewitnesses said that there was a woman’s body among the dead , which is unaccepted thing according to the Tribal traditions. It’s worth mentioning that, these deaths will hinder efforts by Pakistani government to negotiate with militants.
