Sudanese capture people smugglers to Israel

Sudanese intelligence and security forces in Kassala state were able to capture a network smuggling people into Israel. According to the Sudanese Media Center, a Sudanese security source said that officers in Kassala state bordering Eritrea "were able to capture a network of people smugglers". "We found with them four Eritreans who were being prepared for transport to Israel," the source said, adding that officers also recovered firearms, ammunition, satellite telephones and documents. For his part, Rabie Abdul Atti, a senior official in Sudan’s ruling party said that Sudanese tribes cannot be accused of kidnapping people, as those tribes are known of their norms and values that respect the human dignity, stressing that the Sudanese authorities are following the case.
