St. Michael's Catholic Church praises UAE for promoting tolerance
Sharjah - Arab Today
A delegation from the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Sharjah today praised the UAE for promoting tolerance, peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue to counter racism and hate.
The delegation was speaking during a seminar organised by Sharjah Charity International to discuss on religious tolerance.
They said thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Rulers of the Emirates, the UAE is a model of tolerance and constructive dialogue.
Johnny Gerges, a member of the church's Emmanuel Youth group, said such meetings bring together wise men, reflect the love prevailing in society and harmony among religions.
