Casablanca - Abdelilah Shebl
Abdellatif Wahbi, from the Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM) in Morocco, believes the merge of Labour Party with the Socialist Union Party is a "very positive step." The decision was announced Wednesday during a press conference by Socialist Union Party. Speaking to Arabstoday, Wahbi said that this decision will help strengthen democracy in the country, adding: "Bringing these parties together in a leftist modernist pole is a positive step to aid in the process of creating a political landscape in our country." The opposition leader went on to tell Arabstoday that this alliance is a useful step for "all modernist powers which have  modernist community projects."
