MP Karim Ghallab said the monthly convention of the parliament, which specially is for prime ministers to answer MPs’ questions “is one of the main mechanisms to abolish the constitution and establish the new role of the government and parliament.” Ghallab stated in a press conference in Rabat that the news sessions aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability over the government's work. He said it woudl also serve to enhance cooperation between the parliament and executive in running the country's affairs. "The session will include questions on legislative plans and unemployment," he said. Ghallab explained that the session was scheduled to last for 186 minutes, divided between the government, majority and opposition MPs, as well as the rest of the parliamentary groups.
