Moroccan Communication Minister and government spokesperson Mustapha el-Khalfi is facing though questions from the parliamentary committee for education, culture and communication, following allegations of financial irregularities at state-owned media organisations. Some claim administrative corruption has taken place at Morocco’s nationalised Tamazight TV and Medi1 TV channels. MP Bouchra Berjal -- from the Constitutional Union (UC) party -- will preside over the hearing on Tuesday. Questioning is expected to focus on Tamazight TV, where employees have repeatedly called for better pay and legal protection while financial mismanagement allegations have surrounded the organisation.
