Israeli drones penetrate the Egyptian airspace

The Salafist Jihadism in Sinai stressed that the Israeli aircraft has penetrated the Egyptian airs more than once and for long distances during the past week in several areas in Sheikh Zuwaid, Rafah and central Sinai. A statement issued by the Salafist Jihadism on Friday said: “Our brothers were able to monitor a number of (Jewish) drones which penetrated the Egyptian airspace.” The statement stressed: “The target of those aircrafts is to spy and to collect information and to target persons and vehicles using missiles. This comes after the Israeli Mossad had assassinated one of the Egyptian Mujahideen inside the Egyptian territory after four Jewish officers accessed into the Egyptian borders for a distance more than 15 km and the media did not uncover this blatant violation and the Jews did not receive any official or popular response which encourage them to penetrate the Egyptian Sky using their drones. This new crime threatens another escalation in case the authorities keep on ignoring these repeated violations.” The group conveyed a number of messages through its statement; first it urged the people of Sinai to be cautious and attentive to such intrusions. The statement confirmed: “The deterrent response is ready for any abuse against our people and our brothers.” The other message is directed to the Egyptian army leaders and members, stating: “This penetration is a clear violation against the Egyptian army by an enemy who has hostility towards all sides and aims at creating a conflict between the Mujahideen and the army.” The statement added: “We are waiting for an action by the army against the repeated violations of the enemy instead of being dragged into the trap of the Jews. The Jewish crimes had influenced both sides: the soldiers of the army and the young Mujahideen.” Salafist Jihadism threatened Israel, saying: “You had had a previous experience with our swords and you had suffered from our steady fighters, these were only skirmishes, it is time for the real battle.”
