Fatah spokesman Osama Qawassmeh
Ramallah - Arab Today

Fatah Movement voiced on Tuesday support and solidarity with the Egyptian people in their fight against terrorism.
The Egyptian people foiled conspiracies that targeted the division of Arab states, Fatah spokesman Osama Qawassmeh said.
The Arab world went through a plot since Hamas took power on Gaza by removing Fatah from power in 2007, he noted.
"Hamas's plan was an attempt to split the Gaza Strip into a state that stretches away from Palestine to the Egyptians Peninsula of Sinai," he said, adding, the plan was supposed to be carried out under the nose of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
The spokesman asserted that the Egyptian army is the "shield" of the whole Arab world in face of "malicious attempts and conspiracies targeting the Arab world."
Egypt fights the same conspirators who are lurking around every bend in Palestine, the spokesman warned.
