Jerusalem - Sona al-Deak
Extremist Jews comprised of settlers and an Israeli minister reportedly stormed the holy al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday, and took a tour ofthe grounds under the protection of Israeli Special Forces. The mosque guards said the storming started at 7am local time, by a small group that entered from the al-Maghreb gate. Israeli police have approved organized groups of settlers to march on Sunday 20th May in what they call the "Flags March". Sunday is the anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of Jerusalem, which is known in Israel as "Jerusalem Day". The march will take place on the streets of Jerusalem, starting at al-Sultan Sulaiman Street in east Jerusalem, and then continue through al-Sahera gate (Herod's gate), al-Asbat gate (St. Stephen's Gate), al-Wad Street and finishing at the al-Buraq wall (Wailing Wall).
