Tunis - Azhar Jarboui
A number of supporters of Tunisia’s Islamic Ennahda Party rallied in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Tunis, expressing their protest against the exclusion of Egypt’s former President Mohammed Morsi. They rebuked what they described as a "foreign conspiracy against Arab countries and Islamic regimes." Dozens of Tunisian Islamists expressed their refusal to what they described as a military coup against the former president, described Egypt’s Minister of Defence Abdul Fatah Khalil Al-Sisi as a traitor. Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Free National Union has warned  that the ruling regime in Tunisia may face the "same destiny as the Egyptian president." He blamed the government for failing to resolve the social problems of the country.
