Cairo – Akram Ali
General, Adel Al-Morsi , head of Egypt's military judicial system, has confirmed that the investigation, which is being viewed by the military judicial system, in regard to Maspero events, includes accusations to Coptic Egyptians and Muslims, live in Bolaq, Abu El-Ola , near Maspero building, and also some soldiers from the military police. “They were all involved in the events” he said. Al-Morsi added in press statements, that 50 people have been accused of Maspero events, which took place on October 9th, resulted in the deaths of 28 people, most of them Coptic demonstrators. While some activists and bloggers at the scene of the clashes accused military forces of firing at peaceful Coptic protesters, Coptic Church officials said “strangers” had incited the violence.
