Cairo - Mohammed Al Dawi
A senior official from Egypt's Salafist al-Nour Party has disclosed that the movement refused several offers to join the country's new government. Dr Khaled Alam el-Din explained that the Islamic party demanded a technocratic government, and held on to its principles in this regard. El-Din added that there is a political imbalance in the new government which could have a major impact during the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections. The Egyptian politician reiterated that party members would boycott the new government.
