Egypt is willing to take part in Syria talks in Astana, said Egyptian Ambassador here Mohamed el Badry on Wednesday.
The Russian news agency Sputnik quoted him as explaining that Egypt is willing to participate in the talks if asked to do.
He added that Egypt is actually exerting all efforts for settling the Syrian crisis.
Egypt also played a major role in having the Syrian opposition factions meet and come out with a unified document and a roadmap for settling the Syrian crisis, he added.
