Gaza - Mohammed Habeeb

Hamas Leader, Mahmoud Al-Zahar said that: “the Israeli occupation, is committing these crimes against Palestinians in an attempt to ruin our celebrations for the success of the Swap deal and the release of 1027 prisoners from the Israeli jail.” Alzahar confirmed in press statements on Tuesday that the Palestinian resistance has the right to defend itself and fight against the Israeli crimes in Gaza Strip. The last Israeli attack killed nine Palestinians from Al-Quds brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement. He said: “I believe that Israel will lose despite all these crimes committed against our nations.” Alzahar added: “Israel should understand the lesson, they only have one single chance left to release our prisoners in any way , either by their own decision or by the international interference.” Al-Zahar said that his movement will coordinate with the Egyptian side to implement the second phase of the swap deal, pointing out that Cairo will keep contact with Israel to confirm its commitments to the deal roles. Regarding the Israeli threats to target the released prisoners, Al-Zahar undermined these threats and warned of any attempt to target the ‘Palestinian heros’, he said: “ these threats come in an attempt to reduce their big loss, as they paid a high price to release the Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit,” He said: “these threats also reflect the big loss and frustrations amongst Israelis compared to the Palestinians accomplishments, and as an attempt to appease the society who rejected all the concessions made by Israel in the swap deal. Al-Zahar has also said that issuing summons for the released prisoners by the security services in the West Bank is such a shame. He said: “this is not the right way to treat heroes who spent their lives in jail for the sake of Palestine.” He also called for accelerating the reconciliation process and unites all the Palestinians. On the other hand, Al-Zahar considers the developments, taking place in the Middle East is a start for a new modern phase in the Middle East, away from injustice, he said:  “its fate, and all the nations’ goals will come true and they will have a good life style.” Al-Zahar concluded by confirming the strong relations that Hamas has with the new arab regimes, he said: “Hamas’s relations with the new regimes will be better, and we will have new political and strategic plans.”
