The death toll in Diyala bombings has risen to 21, an Iraqi security source confirmed Wednesday.
The bombings also left 53 people injured, the source added.
The two car bombs rocked a district in Diyala province on Tuesday.
A car bomb has targeted a force of PMF [People’s Mobilization Forces] in the district of Tuz Khormato in Diyala, while another car bomb went off near the Shohada mosque in the Sarbzani area.
Earlier reports said that the bombings left 5 people killed and 13 others injured, and damaged a number of cars and nearby buildings.
