Yemeni President and US official meet to discuss Yemen's future

Yemeni President, Abdu Rabbo Mansour Hadi, met with US Acting Assistant Secretary of State, David Satterfield, who is currently on a visit to Yemen, on Saturday.
During the meeting, the US official asserted his country's backing of real and serious peace in Yemen, the Yemeni News Agency reported.
Satterfield added that the US supports efforts that lay the foundation for a safe future in Yemen and its future generations.
He also reiterated his country's support of Yemen and the international community in facing challenges and the threat of terrorism, as well as the threat from the Houthis and those who back them, the agency added.
