Al-Dirdiri to Hold more than 30 Meetings in New York

The Foreign Minister, Dr. Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, Sunday arrived in New York where is expected to hold more than 30 meetings on the sidelines of his participation in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.
Dr. Al-Dirdiri would meet with the UN Secretary General, the US Secretary of State, the American permanent envoy to the UN, a number of American officials, the Russian Foreign Minister, the Dutch International Cooperation Minister, the British State Minister for Foreign Affairs, along with a number of foreign ministers of member states at the UN.
The Foreign Minister will take part in the high-level occasion that will be organized by the United Nations to mark the move to the stage of peace and stability in Darfur and the high-level event due to be held by the US Secretary of State on peace in South Sudan State.
Immediately after his arrival in New York, Dr. Al-Dirdiri has held a meeting with Sudan permanent mission to New York and Sudan Embassy to Washington which has reviewed the most important events at the Foreign Minister will take part
