The Prime Minister, Muttaz Musa, has underscored importance of statistics in the process of precise planning of all the state’s projects and enhancing the performance.

This came during visit Monday to the Central Statistics Organ, accompanied by the Cabinet Affairs Minister, Ahmed Saad Omer, the Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Dr. Mohamed Khair Al-Zubair, the State Minister at the Council of Ministers, Tariq Haj Ali, and the State Ministers at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Musalam Ahmed Al-Amir, and Dr. Mustafa Hawli.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the Central Statistics Organ is considered the major source for getting accurate information, calling on the organ to give concern to distribution of the statistics information and confronting any report that include imprecise information.

He said that the state is bracing in the coming period for setting the programs and goals budget, a mater that necessitates supporting it with an inclusive statistical work.

He appreciated the performance of the Central Statistics Organ, affirming the keenness to realize a qualitative shift in its work
