'Discover Africa' this spring with al-Ain Zoo

Al Ain Zoo's annual spring-break programme has kicked off, giving children the opportunity to learn about conservation and nature in a fun and educational environment via a number of exciting activities.
To make the best out of the spring-break holidays, Al Ain Zoo has planned a wide array of fun activities that aim to enhance the skills and interests of participants including recycling and arts and crafts. The camp is also providing children with the chance to learn more about wildlife through participating in animal talks, animal feeding and up-close encounters with their favourite animals in their natural environment.
Muna Al Dhaheri, the Chief of Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo, said, "This year, Al Ain Zoo has planned a wide range of activities that aim to give children the chance to learn first-hand about wildlife in an environment that builds their self-confidence and encourages team work. With around 4,000 animals consisting of around 200 species, participants are invited to the zoo's diverse species in an informative and exciting manner."
Organised annually by Al Ain Zoo, the camp is offered in two groups to allow for a large number of students to participate. The first camp took place from 29th March to 2nd April and the second will run from 5th April to 9th April, from 8a.m. to 1p.m..
