Naham city in the eastern side of Sana'a
Aden - Hossam Al Kherbash

Violent clashes erupted between Yemeni governmental troops on one hand and Houthi militias and other forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh at Naham city in the eastern side of Sana'a, as the governmental troops attacked the insurgents in their sites in Madfoon and Manara areas using the different kinds of weapons.

Meanwhile, Arab Coalition launched attack against the strongholds of Houthi militias in Maafi village and targeted Aviation College in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a leading to the destruction of large amounts of weapons and shells. Flares extended to the residential districts pushing to the displacement of dozens of families living the surrounding areas of the college.

The forces of legitimacy, loyal to President And Rabbu Mansour Hadi, launch military operations on the strongholds of insurgents at Naham since over a year. The city enjoys its strategic position, as it would pave the way, if controlled, for besieging the militants in Sana'a.

In the same context, the Arab Coalition's fighter jets targeted a weapons store related to the Houthi militias in the Aviation College, as they raided a number of military sites controlled by the militants in Sana'a. The operations led to the killing of seven militants and the injury of others.

On the other hand, the Houthi militias rally their militants at Al Sharq city, Reema governorate, to prepare for an attack on Atama city that witnessed a number of clashes during the recent days leading to the killing and the injury of dozens of militants.

Clashes also erupted between the governmental troops and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh at Sana'a leading to the killing and injury of dozens of militants.

According to local sources, clashes erupted between Saleh's forces and gangs of Abdel Khaliq Al Houthi, brother of Houthi leader Abdel Malak, in Ali Mohsen Market due to the refusal of Houthi militias to hand over the market to the Central Security forces loyal to former Yemeni president.
