UAE non-resident Ambassador holds meeting with First Lady of Sierra Leone

Mohamed Salem Al-Rashedi, UAE Ambassador to Senegal, and non-resident Ambassador to Sierra Leone, has met with Sia Nyama Koroma, First Lady of Sierra Leone, on the sidelines of a high-level regional meeting titled 'Child Marriage in West and Central Africa'.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries.
Mohamed Al-Rashedi expressed the UAE's sincere condolences to the First Lady on the recent floods that wreaked havoc on the country, leaving hundreds of victims in its wake. He also highlighted the humanitarian assistance the UAE provided - under the guidance of the wise leadership - to alleviate the suffering of the people of Sierra Leone.
Ms. Koroma conveyed her country's thanks and gratitude to the UAE as one of the first nations to offer assistance to the Sierra Leonean people following the natural disaster.
