UAE Ambassador meets with Fiji's Minister of Defence

The UAE Ambassador to Fiji, Saleh Ahmed Al Suwaidi, and Fiji's Minister for Defence and National Security, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, recently met to discuss ways of bolstering cooperation between their countries.
During the meeting, the Fijian Minister praised the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his country's desire to enhance cooperation in the military and police fields with the UAE. The Minister also thanked the UAE for its support for development projects in Fiji.
The UAE Ambassador in turn expressed his delight at the level of cooperation between the UAE and Fiji in the military field, praising Fiji's participation in IDEX 2017 which was held in Abu Dhabi earlier this year. Al Suwaidi also reaffirmed the UAE's desire to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries and take them to a higher level.
