Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Al Mulla on Thursday received Ambassador of Russia to Bahrain, Vagif Garaev.
Speaker Al Mulla asserted that the bilateral ties have been boosted by the auspicious visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Russia Federation Republic in February 2016 that opened new vistas of cooperation and contributed in boosting the amicable bilateral ties. He praised the deep-rooted cooperation and partnership in various fields towards further development and growth. The Speaker called to boosting the investment and economic cooperation in various sectors, lauding the ambassador’s efforts in boosting the cooperation, and wishing him success.
The Russian ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Speaker, assuring that the Bahraini-Russian ties will witness more fruitful cooperation to satisfy the aspirations of both countries’ leaderships and peoples.
