Defence Minister receives Nepalese Army Chief

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, today received Chief of the Nepalese Army Staff, Rajendra Chhetri, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, which was held at the ministry's headquarters, the two sides discussed cooperative relations between the UAE and Nepal, and means of strengthening and developing them, especially in the military and defence fields.
A number of regional and international issues, and current developments in the region, were also reviewed. The Defence Minister and the Nepalese Army Chief also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence.
