The Velvet Manicure

I love Ciate’s manicures and I love how Sisters beauty lounge are always up to the minute with Nail trends… When I found out they brought in the velvet manicure, I knew I had to head there and check it out! The salon have also started introducing a new concept for hygiene and nailcare purposes… They have stopped soaking nails in water as it weakens nails and skin, so they use a Brazilian product, which includes Keratin which is used for moisturizing, cuticle softener and a treatment. They have also made sure that every tool used is disposable which they give you after the treatment. Experience: The velvet manicure starts off like a normal manicure using Ciate’s nailpolishes followed by  a drop of velvet esque powder. I went for the navy color (they also have it in a deep red/burgundy and mink) I loved the matte effect the manicure gave the nails  but what I loved most was the super long lasting effect. I also loved the navy color. Enough with explaining, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…
